Anne Frank is a remarkable diary, the background of which set during the reign of Hitler. The Nazi in Germany was the most horrible people during that period, and one of their purposes was to kill all the Jews. Unfortunately, Frank’s family believed in Judaism. To face the prevailing circumstances, the Frank’s family had to hide into the building, which called the “Secret Annxe” in the dairy. Living in the Secret Annex was very painful, they cut off from the outside world, they faced hunger, boredom, the constant cruelties of living in confined quarters, and the ever-present threat of discovering and death. To spent the boring time, Anne wrote her diary and named it Kitty. Anne Frank recorded vivid impressions of her experiences during this period. She wrote down the changes in the environment under German occupation, and also wrote her dream. After two years, the group was betrayed and transported to concentration camps. Eventally, Anne Frank was died in the concentration camp. Anne Frank’s father, Otto Frank , the only survivor of the family, returned to Amsterdam after the war to find that Anne's diary had been saved by one of the helpers, and his efforts led to its publication in 1947. This is how we can read the most moving personal documents to come out of World War II now. Anne’s diary is an appropriate monument to her fine spirit and to the spirits of those who have worked and are working still for peace.此篇文章已有 {{article.like_count | currency '' 0 }} 人讚許
