畫面一開始接在2014年哥吉拉來陸地的時候，他與怪獸的交戰摧毀很多的家庭，主角就是這樣的人，他恨不得殺掉所有的怪獸，但在後來才發現哥吉拉其實是人類的守護者，也是大自然的平衡，若缺少他自然界就沒有真正的平衡，動物會聽從一個王的命令，怪獸也是，但出現了一個從外太空來的怪獸搶走王的位置，哥吉拉最後使出渾身解數才解決掉他，也令他差點喪失性命，最後哥吉拉取得勝利，也讓所有怪獸都屈服。
